Orcs Must Die!

Orcs Must Die! mixes third-person combat with tower-defense planning as you defend rifts from waves of orcs and other monsters. Between waves you place traps, barricades, and kill zones, then jump into the fight yourself with weapons and spells when the horde arrives. The fun comes from engineering nasty trap combinations and improvising when enemies slip through. It’s a strong pick if you like defensive strategy but still want direct action moment to moment.
