Country routing

When automatic country routing is enabled, GameValueScore can use IPInfo server-side to choose the most relevant country page. The selected country can be kept in the session to avoid repeating the lookup on every page view.

First-party site analytics

GameValueScore measures aggregate traffic directly on its own infrastructure to understand visits, viewed pages, referral domains, campaigns, devices, countries or selected markets, engagement and clicks towards game stores. The system does not use analytics cookies, local storage identifiers, advertising profiles or third-party analytics services.

Raw IP addresses and full browser user-agent strings are not stored. A one-way server-side code, generated from limited request data and rotated daily, is used to estimate daily unique visitors and sessions. Referrers and outbound links are reduced to their domain name; URL paths and query strings from external sites are discarded.

When IPInfo is configured, country and coarse network type can be resolved asynchronously to separate likely data-centre automation from visitor traffic. The lookup runs after collection so it does not delay the page; GameValueScore stores only the resulting country and broad network category, never the address or network organisation name.

Purpose and retention

The data is used only for aggregate statistics and to improve this single website. Detailed analytics events are retained for up to 90 days, then automatically deleted. Access is restricted to the private GameValueScore administration area.

Privacy signals

The analytics endpoint ignores requests that carry an enabled Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal. Declared or browser-detected automation, previews, monitoring tools, prefetch requests and high-confidence crawl bursts are excluded from the main KPIs and kept separate where diagnostic review is useful.

Cookie notice

The cookie notice stores only a local acknowledgement in the browser so it does not keep appearing after dismissal.
