Tomb Raider Game of the Year

Tomb Raider reboots Lara Croft as a young survivor stranded on a dangerous island, mixing climbing, combat, exploration, and cinematic set-pieces. You scavenge resources, upgrade gear, raid optional tombs, and push through hostile environments that gradually open up as Lara gains new tools. It is more focused and scripted than the older games, but still keeps a good rhythm of traversal, puzzles, and third-person action. This is a good entry point for players who want a polished adventure with survival flavor rather than a pure puzzle-platformer.
