Pillars of Eternity is an isometric party RPG in the tradition of Baldur’s Gate, with real-time-with-pause combat, deep character builds, and a lot of dialogue-driven questing. You create a protagonist, recruit companions, explore towns and wilderness areas, and make choices that often have more nuance than a simple good-or-evil split.
