EVERSPACE 2 shifts away from roguelite runs into a full single-player space action RPG with hand-built star systems, story missions, side jobs, and loot-driven ship progression. You fly in third person, dogfight with drones and outlaws, solve light environmental puzzles, mine resources, and tune different ship classes to fit your combat style. The game has a pulpy space-opera feel, with plenty of cockpit banter and colorful locations rather than hard-sim realism. It is a good fit if you want accessible space combat, steady upgrades, and a substantial campaign to work through at your own pace.
