Yakuza 6: The Song of Life closes Kazuma Kiryu’s main saga with street brawling, melodrama, and a pair of richly detailed city districts to explore. Between story chapters, you can get pulled into substories, arcade games, clan battles, karaoke, batting cages, and the usual flood of odd distractions. The combat is more streamlined than some earlier entries, but the game’s character comes from its mix of sincere crime drama and everyday absurdity.
