Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy follows a customizable student training under Luke Skywalker and Kyle Katarn, with missions that can be tackled in a semi-flexible order. Combat mixes Force powers, blaster use, and especially lightsaber duels, with different saber styles and loadouts giving it more personality than a simple hack-and-slash. The levels are very much of their early-2000s era, but the freedom to build your own Jedi or dark-side-leaning fighter is still the hook. It is a good pick for players who want classic Star Wars lightsaber action with a campaign that gets to the fun quickly.
